The company already used Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Service Management to manage new installations, installed products and ongoing service activities. However, scaling field execution efficiently required tighter integration between planning, scheduling, dispatch, test support and technicians in the field.

A key improvement was how the solution tied planning, scheduling, service management, and field execution together in a single, unified process. From the outset in August 2024, the focus was on clearly defining operational requirements and aligning all stakeholders around a shared vision for how the system should support the business.
By early 2025, the solution went live, and Secutel now operates with a streamlined process that connects office teams and field technicians in real time.
Today, the setup enables centralised planning and scheduling, real-time coordination between office and field teams, mobile access for technicians on-site, and full integration with Business Central. It has also significantly improved visibility into jobs, resources, and overall service performance.
The solution currently supports 13+ resource planners, 12+ admin support and 65+ field technicians managing installations, maintenance, and support services across customer locations.
